How Tesco Click and Collect Works

1) Book your Tesco Click and Collect Slot

The first step is to book your Click and Collect slot. To do so, sign in to your account if you’re an existing Tesco customer, but if you’re a new customer, register for an account. It’s free and takes less than 3 minutes.

Book your Click and Collect slot, then start placing your order. Shop online like you normally would. You can shop for fresh food, baked goods, frozen food, drinks, baby stuff, pet food and more.

2) Check Your Email

Tesco will send an email containing a secure access code. You will also receive a text message containing the same access code. If you’ve not updated your contact details with your current mobile phone number, head to your account dashboard and add your phone number. Once you do so, Tesco will start sending you text messages to your phone every time you choose self-service Click and Collect.

If you do not receive the secure access code in your email or text message, a Tesco attendant will be available at the collection point to help you.

3) Visit Your Self-Service Collection Point

During your booked time slot, visit your self-service collection point and present your access code to get your shopping. Then, be ready to unload your shopping into your boot. It’s as easy as that!
