Want to know is Sweatcoin Legit? well we cover everything you need to know!

What Is Sweatcoin?

Sweatcoin is an app that allows you to earn digital currency whenever you go out for a run or walk. You can then exchange this currency for rewards through the Sweatcoin app.

Is Sweatcoin Legit?

There is no evidence to suggest that Sweatcoin is a scam. There are many reviews online from satisfied customers that have received the reward they have requested.

How Does Sweatcoin Work?

You will earn Sweatcoins when you walk or run outside. The app will track how many steps you take, and you will earn sweatcoins based on the amount of steps that you take.

When you go out for a walk or run, you start up the Sweatcoin app. You will need to ensure that it remains running in the background in order to track the steps that you take. It does have a battery saver mode so you shouldn’t notice any real drain on your battery.

The app can track how fast you are moving by using accelerometers within the phone. It also uses GPS to track your route and this is the reason it does not work indoors.

How Do You Earn Rewards With Sweatcoin?

You earn just under one sweatcoin for every 1000 steps that you take. The amount of sweatcoins that you can earn in one day will depend on your membership level.

There are several different levels of membership within Sweatcoin and this will affect the rewards you can earn. The basic membership is completely free but you are limited to earning five sweatcoins a day. This is equivalent to walking or running over 5000 steps.

If you walk more than this each day, then you may want to upgrade to one of the other membership levels, but all of these will require payment in sweatcoins. The differences between all of these levels are detailed below.

Mover – The basic free membership that allows you to earn up to five sweatcoins per day. This is equivalent to just over 5000 outside steps.

Shaker – This costs 4.75 sweatcoins per month and allows you to earn up to ten sweatcoins per day. This is equivalent to just over 10000 outside steps.

Quaker – This costs 20 sweatcoins per month and allows you to earn up to fifteen sweatcoins per day. This is equivalent to just over 15000 outside steps.

Breaker – This costs 30 sweatcoins per month and allows you to earn up to twenty sweatcoins per day. This is equivalent to just over 20000 outside steps.

What Can You Redeem With Sweatcoin Digital Currency?

The items that you can purchase with Sweatcoin change on a regular basis. The best way to find out which rewards are currently available is to check the app or website.

At the moment there is no way to redeem the money you have earned through Sweatcoin to cash via PayPal or bank transfer. While this is something that may change at some point, there are no immediate plans to introduce it.

Can I Refer My Friends To Earn Extra Sweatcoins?

Sweatcoin does have a referral scheme and you can use this to boost the amount of sweatcoins that you earn. You will receive 5 sweatcoins for any friend that signs up using your referral link, and there is no limit to the amount of people that you can refer. If you are able to get several people to sign up, then it can be a real boost to the amount that you can earn.

How Can I Redeem Rewards With Sweatcoin?

When you have accumulated enough sweatcoins, you will be able to exchange them for a range of rewards. These rewards are divided into two categories – Daily Offers and Marathon Offers.

Daily Offers are only available for a limited time, and they tend to be things such as a trial of a certain service for a few months that you can pay for with sweatcoins. Marathon Offers tend to be available for much longer, but they do need more sweatcoins in order to redeem them. These offers often include hardware items such as wireless headphones and phone handsets.

Overview

If you already exercise outdoors on a regular basis, then using Sweatcoin can help you earn rewards for the exercise you would be doing anyway. At the moment, it does not connect to any fitness trackers, so you will need to make sure you take your phone with you when you go out.

If you want to increase the amount of exercise that you take each day, then Sweatcoin can really help with motivation. You may find that you start extending your walk or run so that you can reach the required steps for the next Sweatcoin.

If you spend a lot of time outside and regularly exceed 10000 steps a day, then it may be worth upgrading your membership level to be able to be rewarded for the steps that you do. However, this option will not be suitable for everyone, and so it is something you will need to weigh up for yourself.
