Introducing the Wonder of the Seas Cruise Ship…
The Wonder of the Seas Cruise Ship, is the latest cruise ship from Royal Caribbean that is five times bigger than the Titanic and can carry up to 6,988 passengers.
As the largest cruise ship in the world, the Wonder of the Seas overthrows its sister ship, Symphony of the Seas, built-in 2018.
Lots of Entertainment for Kids
The Wonder of the Seas has plenty of things for families with kids to do and enjoy. One of the best places for kids to play and socialize is the brightly coloured Wonder Playscape. With adventures for all ages, this outdoor playing area has climbing walls, a lookout facing the ship’s wake and slides.
It also has a cavern where kids can find an interactive mural of sea creatures. When they touch the mural, it comes to life. Kids can also pretend to be giants with live versions of their favourite games, such as noughts and crosses. Note, parents and guardians must supervise their kids while at Wonder Playscape.
Next is the Ultimate Abyss. As one of the tallest slides at sea, it’s a 100 ft slide drops 10+ decks. In fact, kids can drop from Deck 16 to Deck 3 in 13 seconds. However, the maximum weight allowed is 300 pounds.
If your kids are brave enough, they can take the twisting, and turning waterslide called the Perfect Storm. As the boldest waterslide at sea, it has the first boomerang style and headfirst mat racer to dual racers.
At the Carousel, kids can go for a spin on hand-carved horses, bunnies, zebras, and other animals. The ride is colourful and full of charm. As the highlight of the Boardwalk neighbourhood, you and your kids can hop on and go for a spin.
Kids can get their fill at the FlowRider wave simulator machine, and a 10 deck high zip line. There is also a laser tag game area, video game arcade, two rock-climbing walls, and an outdoor movie theatre.
The Wonder of the Seas also offers lots of entertainment including the production of Chicago with a Broadway cast. It also has 19 swimming pools and redesigned pool deck that places the kids aqua park and waterslides close together.
Don’t forget the numerous whimsical rooms to roam and climbable creations at the Adventure Ocean. This area offers plenty of activities for kids to choose from. They can have friendly competitions at Arena, climb walls at Play Place and even have space to call their own at Hangout. There are multiple programs for babies (6 to 36 months old) and kids (12 years old).
But the highlight of the cruise is the Ultimate Family Suite. Designed to sleep up to 10 people, it has its own slide and play area for kids plus a private cinema.
Besides entertainment and activities for kids, there is plenty for mums and dads to do while cruising on the Wonder of the Seas and with the ship sailing from Barcelona this summer, why not book a Holiday!
