How to Cancel Spotify Premium

Spotify is one of the world’s biggest music streaming platforms by the number of users. Launched in 2008, Spotify gained instant popularity with the Facebook partnership. In 2018, the company went public with a market cap of $26.5 billion. Today, the world’s biggest four music labels are responsible for 87% of content on Spotify.

In the last quarter of 2020, Spotify had 345 million subscribers. Of these, 121 million come from Europe, 83 million from North America, 76 million from Latin America, and 66 million from the rest of the world.

To access one of the largest collections of music in history on Spotify, users need to register. The music streaming service operates on a freemium model. This means free Spotify users access comes with ads and lower sound quality. But Premium users listen to high-quality recordings uninterrupted. They also download the songs to any device via the Spotify app.
