3 New Attractions to Open at CBeebies Land in Alton Towers

CBeebies Land is home to a range of attractions, rides and shows. They include family favourites such as Peter Rabbit, the Teletubbies, In The Night Garden and Postman Pat.

Alton Towers has announced the addition of three new attractions. The new attractions will join the line-up of other attractions in CBeebies Land. They are Jojo & Gran Gran, Andy’s Adventures Dinosaur Dig and Hey Duggee.

As the perfect place for children to play, learn and socialise, Jojo & Gran Gran provides an opportunity for kids to run wild. The attraction, named after a children’s animated TV series by the same name, allows kids to explore Gran Gran’s house from the TV show.

From the sitting room, kids can call Gran Gran and chat a little or help her in the kitchen to bake her famous banana bread. In her garden, kids can see spring flowers grow, kick autumn leaves or explore the maze. Hopefully, they can discover Jojo who is hiding in the garden.

At Andy’s Adventures Dinosaur Dig, kids can immerse themselves in pre-historic sights and sounds. They can explore the pre-historic dig where they can unearth fossils and footprints.

After discovering the fossils and dinosaur footprints, they can have a fossilator analyse them. From the information uncovered by the fossilator, kids can learn more about their discoveries. They can learn about the dinosaur species, where they lived and much more.

At the Hey Duggee attraction, kids will have the opportunity to bounce, slide and climb their way through the adventure land. Along the way, they will meet Duggee the dog who will be at the clubhouse to meet guests. The dog will be giving out Big Adventure Badges and a big Duggee hug.

At the Squirrel club, children can go on big adventures to all their favourite Hey Duggee locations. Another exciting attraction is the brand new live show called “The Map Badge.” It will be coming to the Hey Duggee adventure land.

The park is yet to give an official opening date, but we expect it will reopen by Spring 2022. Larry Roles, Alton Towers Resort’s Marketing Director said, “We’re excited to grow the entertainment in CBeebies Land. We will be bringing to life even more favourites for families to enjoy together. These new additions will provide a truly immersive experience for kids and captivate the imaginations.”

In 2021, Alton Towers added a new attraction, Gangsta Granny The Ride based on David William’s best selling book, families have the opportunity of spotting Walliams’s story references. The ride takes fans on an immersive tour and uses the latest technology to deliver a multi-sensory experience.

Alton continues to offer opportunities for families to experience CBeebies shows brought to life. You can enjoy rides including the Go Jetters Vroomster Zoom Ride or step inside the rainbow of CBeebies Land Hotel. With the addition of the new attractions, families have a wide range of exciting places to visit and much more.
